Anybody have experience or tips on doing coped joints between logs, both at right angle and other angles? I am hoping to get a job making head- and footboards with logs for posts, rails, trusses within.

We use a timber scriber found at places like Lee Valley and http://www.loghelp.com and the arbor tech or circular chainsaw blades that go on angle grinders. I don't think this forum is your best source of this info. Daniel Mack has a great website and books on making rustic furniture.
