Has anyone built the TALL CASE clock featured by Lonnie in FW? Is this something an intermediate woodworker can handle? Also need a source for movements and faces other than Klockit. I wanted to attach a file of my last piece but for some odd reason my “attach files” tab will not work? hmmm BOB

I haven't built the Lonnie Bird clock Bob, but I'd sure like to when I have the time.
I love Tiger maple and the look of the clock in general. Also, the flat top is an
easier project than the more difficult gooseneck moldings of the more elaborate
clocks. I have dealt with two clock works suppliers before. One is Black Forest
Imports (http://www.blackforestimports.com) and Merrit's Antiques
(http://www.merrits.com). They both carry Hermle as well as Keininger movements of
all kinds. Merritts has a huge selection of works, and individual parts such as
hands, dials, etc. I almost forgot to mention the supplier that Lonnie used for his
piece, which is http://www.greenlakeclock.com. They have several dial selections but
really only two high-end sets of works I believe. They are however, top of the
line in quality.
