Check http://www.woodfinder.com Lots of places to find quality lumber in the Lancaster County PA area, Hearn, Groff & Groff, Sandy Pond, Good Hope Hardwood for example. Further west, but further north, Irion Lumber (Wellsboro PA, which is roughly south of Corning NY.)
Thankyou, after some rafting and some sight seeing I'm on it.
Screwd,
For some specific recommendations:
Hearne Hardwoods
Groff & Grofff Lumber
Sandy Pond Hardwoods
All within about 20 miles of each other in south eastern Pennsylvania.

What Steve said -- Hearne Hardwood, or Groff & Groff.
Both are dealers in the finest quality hardwoods, both very reputable, both somewhere near Lancaster.
I've been to both of them. If you go, you probably ought to take your extra-large wallet. You're gonna see some stuff that will take your breath away.
Politics is the antithesis of problem solving.
12/4 is a bit heavy. 200bdft is a lot. I would call first to make sure the dealers have what you want in stock. (most dealers have limited selection in heavy stock.)
Check out Wagner Lumber, I don't remember if it's Owego or Oswego NY, anyway it's not too far from Binghamton, They are producers and more likely to have better prices than wholesalers, most of the Cherry logs they saw come from PA, they put up an excellent product.

Thankyou all for the help. I will be calling ahead, I want to aquire a small inventory because it is hard to come by in NC. Being the furniture capital, I have a lot of competetion for a source. Also Binghamton is my Alma Mater, a good excuse to go down memory lane. Thanks again.
