My brother is making me a federal-style dining table out of mahogany, with rosewood accents. I am looking for a chairmaker who could make complimentary chairs for less than $600 a piece. Any suggestions? Thanks!

What part of the country are you in.
New York - I'd be happy to find pre-designed chairs that will match.
I don't think you'll find anybody who can afford to build a set of full-custom Federal dining chairs for $600 each. I suggest you look for somebody who already is producing Federal chairs of a design that is close enough to your table that you can live with them.
You might try SAPFM and see if any one there is interested. They have a discussion forum, I'd give them a try.
