A couple of years ago, my wife and I bought a bedroom set. I had built a mission bed and hadn’t finished it yet, so I asked the manufacturer to finish it at the same time as the rest of the set, so it would all match. Now there are scratches on the top of the footboard, so much that I want to re sand and finish it. After calling the manufacturer, I was given a product number and a manufacturer name (of the stain company) of Paints and Solvents. I have been unable to find the company on the Internet and do not know where it is located. Has anyone ever heard of this company?

If that doesn't pan out, Sherwin Williams does a pretty good job mixing custom stains for matching. Just bring them a color sample.
