Looking for bathroom remodeling ideas
Hello
One of the many things on my project list is to update the downstairs bathroom. It’s just a sink/mirror and toilet, but my wife hated it since she first saw it when we bought the house and I don’t like it either. It was never nice, just a crappy cheap cabinet under the sink, an ugly wall-cabinet sunk behind the drywall, and a frameless mirror.
There is so much material from FineWoodworking that I’m sure there are articles and maybe even videos that could give me some ideas.
This is the most used bathroom in the house, but I’m looking for minimalism. I really just need to mount a sink on something, hide the pipes below the sink, and make a decent-looking frame for a mirror.
I looked at big stores for inspiration but I didn’t like anything I saw. Never mind that it’s all MDF that’s falling apart before you even install it, but most is also very ugly.
Where would you look for inspiration? I have extreme tendencies and am not afraid of something that would be classified as weird. But I’m not an artist, and cannot design much more than a box with routed corners.
Thanks in advance,
Andrew
