Would like to achieve a golden hue on maple face frame cabinets. Heard about mixing oil/spirits/poly , will this be durable enough for a bathroom?
Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

I have made alot of maple projects over the last five years and I have been very pleased with Minwax wipe-on satin poly. It is oil based so you get the rich tones that increase with time. sand to 220 and apply 3-4 coats with light sanding between. let the final coat cure 5 days and rub out finish with 000 synthetic steel wool and Johnsons paste wax, buff with cloth. You won't be disappointed.
