If any one knows where I can get a Porter Cable Overarm pin router. I can’t remember the model number, but it has been discontinued. Norm A. had one for a while on the New Yankee Workshop.
A consinment tool reseller, an individual most anywhere would be a good start and greatly appreciated.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP. 🙂

there is a used tool warehouse in fridley minnesota called tried and true tools. their tel# is 763.574.0407.
i have found their employees to be extremely knowledgable and helpful.
good luck rg
Thanks so much.
it's the kind of place where a fella can get lost for couple of hours just looking around at everything. the last time i was there, there must have been at least half a dozen bandsaws that were taller than me, panel saws, the display cabinet of starrett etc. not to mention the drills, saws, wrenches, and miscellaneous collections of small machined parts.
it's a d a m n cool alternative to the mall of america.
AND there is an awesome market across the street where you can get prime rib, ribs, and butcher cut tenderloins of all varieties.
I see them once in a while on ebay

You sure it was a PC? I used to work as a tech for a tool dealer and and got to see all the stuff and never recall seeing a PC one. Bosch made one for a while and and so did shopsmith. I used to have a Carter (pre Stanley) pin router set up. Veritas makes an under table sort of pin router. Onsrud also makes an undertable pin router. Was the router above or below the table? Delta used to make a sort of pin router but that was discontinued long ago plus it wasn't too good.

Almost forgot about this one. Actually it was a Delta with a PC router. I bet that's the one. Don't watch Norm so it's a hunch but have used the big pin routers in larger shops.

You may be right, it may have been Delta and it used a PC router. Delta/Rockwell/PC all one in the same essentially. I believe it was the Delta. The router was over the table.
I wanted it mainly for mortice work. It was my understanding that it was not the greatest of machines. The other machines you listed are nice, but a bit too large for my needs and shop.
I really appreciate your help.

Just remembered another one....Delta did make an overarm pin router back then.
Woodworkers Supply has an equivalent pin router...Woodtek brand for about $2,000.
Since you mentioned you want it for mortises I recommend you look at slot mortisers. Look at Lagunas site for an example. Far superior for mortises than the pin router. Pin routers are more for pattern work. You can get into a Laguna for $500.
Are you looking for the Rockwell overarm router/shaper #43-503? Mine is a sweet machine. Overarm rotates 360 deg. on the XY axis.
