I recently bought a Ryobi RS280VS sander.  This sander is designed primarily for PSA disks; to use hook&loop disks (which I keep in stock), you need to use their “conversion pad”–a thin stick on piece. 

Unfortunately, these conversion pads don’t last too long.  I’ve not found a source for them anywhere–anyone out there who has been in this same predicament?  Anyone using a RS280 with PSA disks and doesn’t need the conversion pad that came with the sander?

BTW, I don’t recommend buying this sander because of this problem with conversion pads.
