Looking for those bi-focal stick ons

Is there a woodworking catalog that has these little buggers. They stick to the inside of glasses for up close work. Thanks!

David, you're in sunny Kansas, right? Try the sunglasses section of a drugstore. I have trouble finding them here in the Seattle area, but in Palm Desert where my sister lives, they're located with the sunglasses (that's what they were originally designed for, so people didn't have to buy prescription sunglasses when they got old like me).

I tried every store in town. This area is the last place to get new products. I even called a few optometrists. They don't want to carry them for obvious reasons.
Anything that is of higher quality or different I have to get mail order. This area isn't progressive. It's kind of a curse that hangs over it and they don't see it.
I don't mean to be negative. It just is. I need to move but am just waiting for it to happen. I'm not going to beat myself up about it.
Just a thought..
Get a pair of them funny lookin' half height reading glasses that are for reading..
Just magnifiers but you can get in different't magnification. Book stores have them ..
Works for me.. But I only need them if I want to see something really up close.
By the way, I have some old resolution charts on film and the optical quality was good for them $20.00 ones...
k-mart or wall mart have those 1/2 glasses with different magnification also a good drug store may have them . takes a while to get used too.Thomas B. Palumbo
CUSTOM WOODWORKING
I have maybe 6 pairs of different magnification glasses. I even have a stereoscopic microscope my dad gave me. I am a perfectionist sometimes and like to work on small stuff. I haven't found a niche where I can make money at it though.
What I want is a source for the stick on bi-focals. I'm not trying to be rude. Thanks for your suggestions. I'm in the proccess of setting up my shop so I will be placing some orders from woodworking catalogs. It would be nice if one of them had these so I don't have a bunch of shipping charges but if not I will order from a place that google brings up.
Sorry to hear it's so hard to get stuff there. I took a flyer and tried a Google. Click here to see the results. Looks like you can get them on-line. I'll probably do the same, since I can't afford a trip to Palm Springs anytime soon, LOL!forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)Another proud member of the "I Rocked With ToolDoc Club" .... :>)

I've never seen them in a WW catalog, but I bought some at Longs drugstore but didn't like them and brought them back.
Instead I bought a pair of bi-focal safty glasses. Much better and about the same price with eye protection too.
You can find them in a few of the WW catalogs.
Try your local SCUBA shop. We wear them inside our masks to see our gauges (well, us old fogies, anyway!)

Thanks for the tip, greg. Never thought about a diving shop, which we do have here on the island.forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)Another proud member of the "I Rocked With ToolDoc Club" .... :>)
