   Thanks for the offer.  I'm not sure how we do this, my best guess is I'll give you my office number and you give me a call.  I don't care if someone gets that number, It's on the internet anyway.  Be sure to tell my receptionist that I asked you to call and that it has to do with woodworking.  Call between 9 AM & 12 AM or between 2 PM & 5 PM Pacific time.  If I can't come to the phone quickly just give her your number and I'll call you back.

   Don't suggest I make my own because I don't turn.  ???

   I am not a 'turner' either (I only have a small woodworking lathe) but I have made MANY round knobs on a drill press while using common metal working files and sandpaper.

   Round on the perimeter, but with many inside cutouts and such.

   Get a hunk of any wood, grab your files and sandpaper and see what happens!

   PLEASE BE VERY CAREFULL WHILE WORKING! A file rammed up your arm could hurt more than just a bit....

   Carve them.

   Use knives, gouges, rasps, sandpaper...  Knobs don't have to be round.
