I’m visiting from BREAKTIME, although right now 20% of my business these days is furniture….so I guess I have a right to post here??
I built some cabinets in my latest house here. The house is in Japan, but its 2×4 and its finished just like a North American home. But, the customer likes France and French influences, so the interior designer has given it a French theme.
The customer also likes louver doors. She wants louver doors for some of the cabinets I built, plus in other little storage areas. The biggest one I’ll have to make is a large cabinet door size, no closet size doors.
I’m wondering if anybody has any useful jigs for making louver doors, or simple method of construction. Its not mind boggling, but before I brainstorm I thought I would ask around first.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.

There's an article in the FW archives as well.
How about a louvered door guide from the venerable Leigh company....
