Well I just completed my upgrade to my Grizzly 17″ BS. I replaced the stock bearings with the new style roller type (much better) I also purchased the fence upgrade. While it improved things, the new 1″ resawking arrived today and I put it on and WOW, what a difference. Getting it on the saw was a chore being careful that I did not damage the teeth putting it on. I’d never noticed how tight and small that slot is. I really appreciate how well the laguna saw is designed now. Anyway I got the blade on and alingend ok, and made a few test cuts. Man that’s one heck of a blade. I only had time for a few, but they were smooth as a baby’s bottom and it was very easy to pass the stock through the blade. . I think I’m going to like this blade.

hey bones,
carbide tipped i assume? how much did you have to spring for? mine's a 16" inca, wouldn't mind trying a carbide in it.

Inca
"mine's a 16" inca"
Two wheel or three wheel? Some blades have problems with the small radius of the three-wheelers.
I would think so
I would think it would be ok. If you go to http://www.lagunatools.com and go to the bandsaw blades and resaw king one of the tabs is videos and there are 3 vids there that describe detail how the blades are made and the sweedish steel was chosen for it's flexible capabilities and I did notice that that is the case as it's much more flexible than my bi-metal blades. However, call them and speak to them to be sure. They were very helpful and I'm sure they can answer that question. They have the blade in 3/4" 1", and 1 1/4" and 2" for those monster saws.
hey ralph,
it's a nice little saw with two wheels.

your good to go
16" you would be good to go. They indicated they had them on 14" saws. Don't forget to mention the sawmill creek discount. It's a good one!
I <3 inca, too
Mine is an 18" (blade to frame measurement), but 3-wheel, hence my question.
