I own the same spokeshave and like the fact it only has a 25 deg bevel. Putting a micro bevel on it would only increase the cutting angle and defeat the reason behind the low angle concept.

A micro bevel would only need to be added if the blade is experiencing fold over/edge failure at its current angle. Although, adding a 1 degree micro bevel won't effect things too much, it will allow you to touch up the smallest ribbon of metal (cutting edge) between complete resharpenings.
I also have the Veritas Low Angle Spoke Shave (among others), and sharpen almost all of my shop's cutting tools in-house.
