I purchased a used Delta bandsaw in almost new condition. The bandsaw sat in an unheated shop after the owner unfortunately got ill. I took it apart to clean and align it and used petroleum to remove the surface rust. However, I’m wondering what type of lubrication should I use on the table truniouns/supports, and the upper and lower guide block adjusting mechanisms. I used some light (3 in 1) oil but the owners manual I download from the internet did not offer a permnent solution.
Thanks.

One Idea
I suppose you can't go wrong with white lithium grease, or something similar. I wouldn't go too crazy or everything will stick to it, though. Probably some variation of automotive grease would be my bet.
