Does anyone know of lumber mills in the Portland, OR area that sell rough milled hardwood to the general public? I cannot locate an entry in the phone book for any, but I may not be looking for a correct heading.

I just had a pleasant experience with Pine Creek Wood Company over in Friend (off Hwy 197, south of The Dalles). They shipped the first portion of a 600-foot order of figured maple to me here in California. They also sell standard, select grade material at reasonable prices. You can reach Jess at 541-467-2288, or online at http://www.pinecreekwood.com where you can download their lumber list and prices.
