Happy holi’daze’ to all. I am looking for ideas to make a free standing lumber rack to hold rough stock on 1 side & lean 4×8 plywood on the other. Any ideas?

Hello,
About a month ago I posted a thread on this topic and here's what I got back. There is one post from 'Lawrie' that sounds to be just the thing you need. Also I dont know wether you own the tools and shops edition of fine woodworking magazine that has just come out but they have a large lumber rack for your 'rough stock' and a seperate sheet goods rack with a pull out strip to stop damage to the corners of the sheet.

Good Luck,
Sawdust.

Here's a mobile rack I made for my shop. Works well and holds quite a bit of lumber and plywood. I can roll anywhere in the shop faily easily.
