I’m confused by the cut list for the garden bench. The dimensions for the rear legs are given as 2 3/4 x 3 x 23. The front leg dimensions of 1 1/2 x 6 x 29 seem reasonable to me. I would expect the thickness of the legs to be the same. The six inch dimension for the front legs refers to the width, so the thickness is 1 1/2, but a thickness of 2 3/4 for the rear legs seems to be in error.

The width as viewed from the front is 2 3/4". The 3" thickness is actually the required thickness of the stock from front to back but it is cut in a "dog leg". I built this bench several years ago and would be happy to e-mail you photos of the leg and other construction details if you pm me with your e-mail address. It was also featured in an issue of FWW several years ago so you might do a search for it.
