Does any one out there know who the manufacturer of the stationary oscillating spindle sander used by Norm Abrams on THE NEW YANKEE WORKSHOP? It appears that it may be a Grizzlly or Jet.

I believe it's an Enlon.

Many thanks
Mr. Dave
It's an Enlon oscillating spindle sander, now called Star. It says so on his site if you know how to search for it. We have the Grizzly OSS and for the money it's a good deal. I would avoid the Enlon/Star tools. The Grizzly will be better to get parts and service for in the long run.
The Shop Fox W1686 is basically the same machine with a bigger table 27.5 x 27.5", better fit and finish and only a few bucks more.
Many thanks
Mr. Dave
I haven't seen an advertisement for Star/Enlon for years. Are they still in business?
Star is still around, here's a link to their page.http://www.411web.com/s/startools/product.htm
Star still around.
Thanks. Their main showroom used to be down the road about thirty miles in West Virginia. Looked like they had some pretty good tools. I see they are now in California, so the freight wouldn't be in my favour
