*I built a machinist toolbox in high school for my brother and made up my own plans from a gershner. It is all red oak with a locking lid mechanism and locking front, quite nice. I have photos if that would be helpful.
*Thanks for the suggestions. I found one in the Lee Valley catalogue, bought it and am buileing it. I like all the opportunities to screw up, most of which I am taking advantage of. It is a challenge but fun.
