I’d like to find an inexpensive magnetic router switch to put on my table saw extentions/router table. They seem to run about $50.00 and I’d like to find something in the sub $30 range.
Thanks
Alan

$40 might be as low as you can go for a magnetic switch from Grizzly. The af-start is what we would recommend to schools and folks concerned about safety...but this was before the prices dropped through the floor with import mag starters.

Model 1996 can be moved around for various tools.
Here's the $10, 10A version from Grizzly:

10A would be cutting it close for most routers. However, another web page says the same switch is 12A:

Darn...don't know how I missed that one. Funny thing is I still keep seeing people complaining about costs even with these low import prices. Used to be magnetic swithes were $400 and up. Well, still are, depends on where you go.
