Can anyone recommend a good mail order lumber supplier ? Still looking for 18” white eastern white pine for Windsor chair seat blanks and I’m hesitant to buy just a seat blank, seems like cheating (but I know it’s not, no offense to anyone who buys seatblanks online!)

Cheating? Why is buying wood and transforming it into something nice cheating? Since I don't have 20 acres of hardwood timber, a lumber mill and a kiln I buy walnut or oak planks and do my best. Buying online is just another way to get nice wood, especially if I live 1500 miles from areas where white pine grows. If I need a white pine chair blank, I'm logging in and buying it.
Buying lumber online is pretty hit or miss. You're bound to have a lot more waste than you would if you picked the boards yourself. And right now, freight costs are killer.
If you buy a seat blank, there won't be any waste.
You really, really don't need a single board. Especially if you are painting, which I assume you are with a pine seat. Glue it up.

They have great lumber and the owner will pick a great wood for your project.
I use bellforestproducts.com. Their only business is wood. Pages & pages of domestic and exotic lumber.
I’ve not ordered from them yet, but two different reliable sources have recommended to me Irion Lumber. [https://irionlumber.com/]
I know 10 or 15 years ago FWW had an article about mail order lumber places.
If all you're looking for is clear pine to make a seat, why not just go to Lowe's or Home Depot and buy a stair tread. It's already edge joined and very stable and you can cut it to length and edge join it if you need it wider. If you are looking for something thicker than 1", the same thing applies. Face join to whatever thickness you're trying to achieve. I'm a hobbyist, so I enjoy making everything I do, by experimenting with different joinery techniques. I was spoiled when I lived in VT, given the access to most all N American hardwood species, and cheap because there were so many sawmills. I now live in FL, so my options are limited.
I needed a couple of stair treads last year. All of the treads at Lowes and Home Depot were glued up of about 50 pieces, with a wraparound veneer on top. I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole.
Bell Forest Products, absolutely.
Sadly for me, Woodworkers Resource and Bell Forest prices for 100 bd ft was cheaper including cross country shipping costs than I could get at my local lumber yard. I like both of them and the quality of the boards is very good.
I have made eight Windsor chairs and as they are always milk painted you could glue up two narrower pieces. Also they can be joined and planed on everyday equipment. Also a single piece has a better chance of warping.See one of my chairs on carolynprue.com
