Making Infeed and Outfeed Parallel
Does anyone out there no how to make the infeed and outfeed tables on my Jet 6inch Jointer Parallel to one another?
I have the Jet JJ-6CSX Jointer. I can tell with a straight edge that the two table form a dish of about 1/32 over 4 feet. What I can’t tell from Jet’s manual is how to adjust this. I hope it’s something easier than having to add shims to the ways.
Help me be parallel!

You should be able to tighten the ways and get some adjustment with this. Should be a couple of allen screws with locking nuts near th ways. Start with adjusting the outfeed table. Since the outfeed table doesn't get moved as often it can be a little tighter than the infeed. I just had the same problem on our little jointer (8" Delta Professional model). It was dished an 1/8" so yours is minor comparatively. I got it within a few thousandths and I have a 6' machined straight edge. I've also had them where I had to shim because I couldn't adjust it out. For a one time deal I would buy a pair of cheap feeler gauges to use. I keep a shimstock pack on hand that I can cut up on a need to use basis but I work on machines on a more frequently. Also check with Jet...if it's a new machine and you can't adjust it out, let them advise you on a course of action and be sure and ask them what an acceptable tolerance is. I personally don't consider a level or an aluminum straight edge acceptable but I tend to try and use a higher standard so I don't get any complaints.

Pic shows how far it was off at the tip of the infeed table.
