Makita 3612B in router lift?
I have a Makita 3+ HP 3612B router that I would like to use in a router table. I was prepared to buy the Jess-Em Mast-R-Lift, but it appears it’s only designed for a few specific cylindrical routers. Is that right? Is there a lift that is recommended for my Makita?
Thanks!
Sue

Rockler carries a reducer collar, #60172 for Makita 1101 routers. I do not know about your Makita model.

Hey Sue,
If you want above the table adjustments for a big dedicated plunge router then Router Raizer is a good way to go. Around $70.00

The original router lift, which is still made by Jess-Em, can be used with any brand of router because the router's base assembly is used to mount the router on the original style lift, much like mounting a router to the underside of a fixed plate. The one drawback to using the router in its base is that the router doesn't lift high enough to allow bit changes with the router in the table.
