Makita 4350FCT jigsaw — question about blade retention
I bought this jigsaw from Amazon a couple of weeks ago. The blade has popped out during use several times, even though I believe I always seated it correctly. The saw has a tool-less blade change feature.
Something else I noticed today: the rod/blade holder assembly can pivot about a quarter inch forward (it can’t be moved side to side).
Do these seem like defects, or is it just the way this tool is designed?
Here is a 9-second video I made showing the movement:

Please disregard. I decided to just return it to Amazon. It'd pretty clear it's defective. I just wanted a second opinion.
I like Makita, and I have several other Makita power tools. I must have received a bad one.
thanks
