Ever since I’ve had this thing I’ve had trouble with the cut depth adjustment. Am I the only one? Anyway, I’m looking at the Freud. Any comments on the tool?
Also saw where DeWalt has come out with a cordless plate joiner. Just my opinion, but is anyone actually going to buy one? Talk about buying something for someone who must have evrything.

I have an electric planer residing unused at the back of a cabinet somewhere. The things are less than worthless as far as I'm concerned.
As a wood shop tool I agree. Being a contractor, as a job tool I don't. Hand planes suck on particle board.
