OK, hokey title. But here is the result of cutting up a board which I was originally going to cut into veneers and never got around to it.
22″ Panel saws and 10″ small joinery saws, one each of rip and crosscut. Handle for the panel saw are modeled after a Harvey Peace saw, and the small joinery saws after my beloved vintage Moulson.
Thanks for looking. Mike

Mike , I love that curly colorful Maple and run into it often and always try and find special places to use it .

Hi Dusty,
Thank you for the kind words.
Yep, the saws are meant to be used. But alas, not by me. They were made for another person. I have only one saw I've made that I use. I have several planned. Mostly my wife's list of saws she wants--she's a woodworker as well.
Take care, Mike
Great looking saws.
Would you mind expanding on the blades? What kind of steel? New? Used? Where from?
Hi QC,
New steel. 1095 spring steel. The rip panel is a 9 ppi, the cross cut panel an 11 ppi. The small rip is 16 ppi and the cross cut a 15 ppi.
You can get this type of steel from MSC or McMaster-Carr.
Take care, Mike
