Hi,
I just finished watching Mark Schofield’s video on Support Stands. I’m just wondering if that’s a Jet table saw he’s using. and where can you purchase one of those sliding side tables? Maybe they only come with certain table saws. That looks like quite the rig for cross cutting. I guess a cheaper solution would be to build a sliding crosscut sled. But that sliding table looks very impressive. I bet it costs quite a bit. Looks like the Jet saw I saw advertised in the Dec issue of Finewoodworking. Also noticed another great tool while thumbing through the pages of my Finewoodworking mag, the portor cable router (890 model) is to die for. Imagine being able to make adjustments from the top rather than having to reach underneath to set the depth of the router bit. What will porter Cable come up with next . Wow!

Don't know about the jat saw, but where did you find the Video?

Wanda,
That's a DeWalt saw, Jet is making a rip-off copy but by several accounts it isn't as good a machine. Once you've used a sliding table, it is hard to go back to a conventional saw.
