Are there any general opinions out there regarding the Maryland Woodworking Show this last weekend? How was customer/vendor attendance? What vendors were most obviously missing? What workshops did you attend? How was it compared to last year/other shows? How much time did you spend trying to discreetly look over shoulders at the Lie-Nielsen/Leigh FMT/Sawstop demonstration?
I’m heading to the Somerset show in a month and would like to accurately set my expectations.

I was thare, but it was my first show. I spent way too much time at both LN and LV and ended up buying a medium shoulder plane from LV and a #66 beading plane from LN. It seemed like it was very crowded. I can not say any real venders were missing.
