There are so many great and inspirational teachers of woodworking—mostly courtesy of Fine Woodworking, but to me Matt Wajda stands next to the great Phil Lowe as the best of the best. I would love to see more projects by him.

The video workshops he's done to date are pretty awesome. I too would like to see more of his work.
I never had the pleasure of taking a class "live" with Phil Lowe or Matt Wajda but I have found the video workshops by both to be excellent. I'm sure if Matt continues to teach he will be recognized as being in the same class as Phil Lowe and others, he just needs more exposure. I also would like to see more from him.
I think I've watched the toolbox video through 2 or 3x. Learn something new each time.
I would just say all the FWW videos are extremely helpful to any ww'er wanting to go to the next level.
This is not meant to be hyperbole: Matt Wajda's video series on making the NBSS Tool Box might be single most informative introduction to fine wood working ever made.
Everything about it, especially the calm instruction, clear explanation, well-positioned camera angles, and careful pacing, is top notch. Having taken classes at NBSS and with the late Phil Lowe, I can say that this video series is pretty much as close as you can get on a recorded video to the real thing.
I agree completely. I, too, have taken classes at NBSS and these videos are definitely the closest to the real experience of all the videos I have watched.
I too enjoyed that one - in fact, it was the first video I watched on this site.
I would argue that there are many others at least as good though.
I can’t add much, as I completely agree, but Matt should be featured as much as possible in FWW, and I too would love to see more videos by Matt as well. By far the best video content so far, and that is a big compliment because I think there is tons of amazing content on FWW.
I sort of agree, but would like to see a wider range of contributions overall.
Matt is the most natural woodworking teacher I've ever been around. He oozes enthusiasm for woodworking and knows how to teach it like few others. He's pretty stinkin' busy as a full-time staff member of NBSS now. We'll keep annoying him to find some time.
I have watched the North Bennett Street video every time I start working with dovetails. By far, it is the most informative dovetail video lesson I have seen. I was so struck with Matt's version of the box that I made my own 6 drawer version.
Great job!
