Hello Everyone,
Like almost every time I post a new message I like to take a second to thank all of you for all of your help and suggestions that you all give on my posts and when you help others on their posts there’s times that you inadvertadly help me there too becouse at one time or another most of the things that are asked on here in others posts happen to us in our shops as well so again just let me take a second to say T H A N K – Y O U – A L L .
Now on to somthing that I think you all should know about if you already dont. My daughters friend sent her a message today letting her know about a pretty nasty virus thats going around. If anyone sends you an e-mail that contains the words ” World Trade Center” or “WTC” or 9/11 back out rite away and delete it. I’m no computer expert but the way I understand it this virus really raises a lot of havic on a persons computer. She told my daughter that the person that told her about it oppened the message and it ruined his computer to the point that his computer won’t come up or do anything anymore now like I said I’m no expert but that to me just don’t sound good so I just thought I’d give all of you that don’t know about the virus a heads up.
Sincerely,
James Clark at the “PUTTERIN YANKEE”woodworking shop

Appreciate you watching out for us.
First thing you want to do when you get a virus warning, is check one of the sites that tracks such things. Symantec and McAfee both maintain such sites as part of their anti-virus software business. Snopes investigates all kinds of reports, not just virus warnings. All three sites agree that the WTC virus is a hoax.
