It seems the Mc Culloch company has come back from the brink of extinction with the help of a Taiwan manufacturer. They have a line of cordless tools priced in the mid range of your better manufacturers. Has anyone looked at or tried these? I will be replacing my low end home owner versions with somthing that gives me better reliability. I have been considering Porter cable or dewalt but am not at that point where the purchase will be made. I want a 12 volt to a 14 volt maximum tool as the whole family must be able to wield these things. And the cost of the higher voltages is not in the picture.

imho I'd shy away from them and stick to Panasonic, Bosch, Makita, PC or Milwaukee. Reminds me too much of Harbor Freight type stuff with a once proud brand name applied to it and without the low price.
