just purchased 20 sheets of cherry veneered 3/4 mdf from a local speaker maunfacturer for only 12.00 sheet. Veneered only one side, but should make nice kitchen cabinets. The guy said it didn,t meet their specs but it looked good to me.

Hi, price sounds good for what it is.
Tradition dictates that this should be veneered both sides to avoid problems with differential moisture absorption and distortion in the MDF. The amount of cupping will depend upon the MDF substrate, it could prove to be insignificant in what you're using it for.
