Hi everyone,
I was just wobdering how the ts 55 festool saw works when cutting melamine? Any tearing or chip out?
The reception desk I have been approached to build might be built of melamine.
Any advice or tips would be appreciated.

sure you can
The saw will handle what you want. The key would be to use the appropriate laminate blade from festool or you can use blades from other sources i.e. forrest, teneru (sorry for the spelling) etc. I would suggest you go over to and register (if you are not a current memeber) at http://www.festoolownersgroup.com . The FOG is a great resource and a lot of folks in trades are participating members and will give you great advice.
