Melamine with mdf core for sheathing
I’m about to build an addition to my shop and I was wondering if i can use melamine that iv waterproofed around the edge as sheathing on the outside of my framing instead of using 1/2 outdoor grade plywood.

I would not recommend it. You can not seal MDF well enough to make it waterproof.
The exception might be if you live in the Arizona desert.

I have to ask why do you want to? There are so many better choices. What is it that appeals to you about melamine?
