I’ve recently had a request from a co-worker for a mens valet. I hope that’s what it’s called. The item in question, a dressing type stand, has a small seat which doubles as a storage area for shine and such and then the “tree” extends upwards about 36″ and has a coat hanger attached to it for hanging shirts and jackets. If anyone can help me out, please reply. I’m looking for either plans or a website whereI can purchase them. thanks in advance.

You might get to see one in an upscale department store or furniture store, or a classy men's shop. Or someplace like the Bombay Company. My dad has one (but he's in another state). The coat hanger is one of those big fat wooden ones. It's hard mounted on a pole. The pole fastens to the underside of the hanger in the center -- there is no hook. There's a rod for hanging trousers. It's basicly a stand for hanging the components of a men's suit -- jacket, trousers, sometimes a tie and belt. Some have a little tray mounted a few inches atop the coat hanger, for cuff links, and such.
Sorry I can't point you towards a picture. Maybe an internet search. Maybe an antique shop.
