I am interested in building some bookshelves similar to these. As you might be able to see from the attached files, the shelves are adjustable on the side tracks and can be joined in series. I’ve attached two files; one shows a finished unit, and the other shows the detail for the track the shelves ride on.
Does anyone know where I might find some aluminum track and fittings similar to this? I know it must be out there somewhere. I’m sure I could go to my local metal supplier and find some similar track, but the tricky part will be finding the fittings. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Where did you get the pictures? No mention of the source where you found the pictures? That might provide a clue. You might be able to track it through that. Post the sight you found the pics on so maybe we could track it down. Easier to buy something already invented than reinventing although it looks like something found in a designer type catalog. I've got some interesting catalogs on furnishing but not sure if something like that is listed.
Rick, here is where I got the picture:

Thanks for your help!
That's Design Within Reach. I suspected it was someplace like that. I've been getting their catalogs for a few years now. I also get that 80/20 one Tom mentioned. The 80/20 would be pretty close as Tom said. At $720 a single shelf unit is pretty pricey. There's others besides 80/20 making that modular construction stuff and the prices are pretty close and way under the Treku stuff if you supply your own wenge shelves.
Try this place. http://www.8020.net/ Not exactly the same thing but you should be able to find everything to make it work.

McMaster Carr has all the fittings. Look up extrurusions 80/20. http://www.mcmaster.com
