The Microvellum I'm aware of is an AutoCad based manufacturing system. You may find users that are familiar with the technology at the Woodweb forums.
Beat it to fit / Paint it to match
I had a job interview once at a company that used it. As part of the interview the hiring manager actually had me sit down at a workstation for 30 minutes to see if I could complete some drawings. I didn't care for the software. It was not very intuitive. I'm sure that they have improved over the years, but this was my experience.
Yeah its clever, but not the easiest thing to use.Good for mass production as it links to cnc machines. For bespoke joinery it is not ideal though.
