Hello, I am new on this forum, I would like to know if somebody has seen reviews or has an opinion on the newer Milwaukee model 5615-20 router, I am thinking of buying one of these routers or (being more expensive) buy a Rout-R-Lift and use one of my routers, any advise would be appreciated.

I've read probably 3 reviews that included this router and they were all positive. I'd buy it in a minute if I needed one! Can't believe no other manufacturer thought of the integral adjustment for use in a table. Bravo Milwaukee.

I looked at it but now a days if a router does not have soft start and variable speed I won't buy it. I would wait till they do, Bosch, Dewalt, Makita all make very nice routers. In my table I have the big one from PC (5 speeds).
THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT, YOU MAKE A GOOD POINT, I UNDERSTAND THAT BY THE END OF THE YEAR MILWAUKEE HAS PLANS TO OFFER VARIABLE SPEED, PERHAPS I SHOULD WAIT, WHAT I LIKED ALSO ON THIS ROUTER IS THE ADJUSTING DEVICE FROM THE TOP, WHICH I UNDERSTAND THE OTHER MODELS DON'T HAVE. THANKS
Dear Arizonian,
I work at a local Home Center, and we carry that router. We have only sold a few, but my typical customer is "Dan the do-it-yourselfer", and he wants to buy the cheapest thing that will spin a bit. Sometimes a pro, like yourself, will stop and look at this router, like he's picking out a person in a large crowd, and will notice the quality and versatility of this dude. I like it myself. Built like a rock. Plan to buy it next payday. I think it would work great for your table.
Stay cool,
Joe
