Last night I put a coat of ‘Mirror Coat’ on the playing surface of a backgammon board I am making. When I last checked it before going to bed, everything was perfectly clear. Today there is a bubble in the cured finish. How can I get rid of or repair this bubble? Thanks.

aguita,
If the bubble is on the surface, open it up and drop fill it with more epoxy. Once cured, sand the repair level with the surrouding surface. Then sand the entire surface with some 320 grit and apply a coat of polyurethane (spray, brush, or wipe). The poly will bring the sheen back and improve the scratch and wear resistance of the finish.

Thanks. I was able to break open the bubble, and then I put a second coat over the entire piece. It took a little bit of encouragement to get the air out of the bubble and allow the new coat to fill the void, but once it did, you could no longer see the original bubble.
