Hello,
I have just purchased a new table saw and I was wondering what the best for the buck miter gauge is out there.
Thanks,

Hello Mike,
Congrats on your new saw. Hope you enjoy it. As far as the question you posed, I bought the deluxe miter gauge from Woodhaven and really like it. It is very accurate and great to use. They also have many attachments for it that make it quite versatile. It is kind of spendy though but I would check it out.
Hope this helps,

Woodsmith just did a test on 6 high end miter gauges. Their recommendations were Incra 1000, Woodhaven Deluxe and Kreg Precision.
best bang for the buck would be either the Woodhaven basic model or the Incra V27. Both are ~ $60 and offer very good precision, but less capability than some of the more expensive models.
Mike,
I think all of them are quite pricey...but kinda like a 6" sterrets(sp?), are essential to high quality repeatability. What ever you buy make sure it has an adjustable stop. I bought the Incra 1000se and it's terrific. The new Jessem is expensive but quite impressive...
I've use an Accu-Miter for years. I wouldn't use anything else. Friends have other brands and they just don't seem as good.
