I’m wanting to upgrade miter gauges from the one that came with my Jet table saw. I’m looking on opinions on Kreg, Jessem, Osborne, Incra, etc. I’m not looking for another basic miter gauge, but one with an extendable fence. The Osborne looked sturdy, but I don’t believe it has any angle markings or gauge on it, but the support for the fence looked better than the others. Any advice, as always, is appreciated. Thanks.

Doc, you may want to look at the Osborne again. A buddy of mine just bought one and it has angle markings as well as stop pins at common angles.

I've had the Incra 3000SE over a year now and never regretted the purchase. I can't comment on the other manufacturers, but the Incra is excellent.

Take a look at the JoinTech. Their patented swivel head is a winner: no matter the angle of the miter bar, the end support stays right at the cut line.

My Osborne EB3 was problematic, and their CS was pretty resistant. Osborne has since been bought out and the manufacturing moved to China...FWIW.
I have a basic Incra V27 that I like alot...the 1000SE would be better.
A friend has the Woodhaven Deluxe...it's built like a precision tank. Worth a look!

Rockler has a "Deal/no deal" today on the Jet miter gauge. I bought the JDS Accu-miter a few years ago and really like it. The adjustable stop is great for repetitive cuts. The hold-down is not very helpful though.

Don't forget to look at the JessEM product. Very nice !!

The Jessem gauge makes all the others look like junk.
I have an Incra (1000SE, I think) and I really like it. The positioning is very positive thanks to notches for setting the angle of the guage and "teeth" on the fence that the flip-stop locks down on.
Doc, check out the JDS accu miters. I use the smaller on a contractors saw and the larger on the Uni saw. I bought the clamp with the larger one in a sale at Woodcraft but use the clamp less than 10% of the time, it fits both and works very good. I checked all the serious miters on the market, looking for solid, accurate and repeatable but not the micro degree settings like most. Paddy.
I have the Incra 1000 and got it before the Jessem came out. Now I want it.

Doc,
I've been using the Incra V27. It's there basic model but is right on and rock solid. On sale was around $50.00. It has settings for all the common or basic angles. If you need more angle settings than this , then buy one of their more versatile models. I love the fit of their miter bar in the table saw slot. No slop, yet free movement, and can be adjusted anytime with ease.
