There are many versions of tablesaw sleds for cutting “perfect” matching miters when, for instance, making picture frames. See page 129 of “Ingenious Jigs & Shop Accessories” for a typical design. Does anyone know of a version or design that can be used with a table saw equipped with a sliding table.

I don't know which slider you have, but my Felder is equipped with a couple of crosscut fences that can be set at any angle from zero to 45 degrees. I don't use a special miter jig, because the fences come with accurate, positive stops every 5 degrees, and at 22.5 degrees. Felder does have an even more accurate miter fence. Check with your saw's manufacturer to see if they offer something similar.
If I were to need a jig, I'd make one for each angle, permanently afixing each jig's fence. For unthinking, repeatable accuracy, the jig would be tightly keyed to the grooved tracks in my slider.
Namaste,

Thanks: I believe the Felder is far more up scale than my Jet SuperSaw. My slider has no grooves. Just flat. It does come with a a fence of very questionable accuracy. The slider has holes drilled and tapped for the fence into which I could attach a 90 degree 3/4" MDF jig set at 45 degrees to the back edge. I think that should work in a manner simmilar to a cross cut sled. That would give me two opposing 45 degree angles that should complement each other even if not perfect 45's. I was just looking to see if anyone else had done something similar.
