Hello, I am trying to miter a 1X10 to a previously installed 1X10 and the miter is a little off, so I need to cut a 55 degree edge, however the board is 8 ft. long and I cannot put it through my saw perpindicular because it would hit the ceiling and the whole starts to seem pretty precarious. Any suggestions for a jig, etc. when cutting long pieces more than 45 degrees??

Check out this tip from issue #118. It might do the trick. Let me know if you need to take another approach and I'll look around.

(Note: the degree sign shows up as an "i" for some strange reason)
