Does anyone know how to adjust the preset miter stops (not the bevel stops) on a Delta 12 inch miter saw model 36-235? The manual shows how to adjust the 90 Degree stop but not the 45 degree. The 90 degree is fine, but the 45 is not accurate. Thank you ahed of time for your help.

Hello Gus,
The 45 degree miter alignment stops are not adjustable. The turntable's position is determined by a pin registering into one of a series of notches beneath the table itself.
To cover all of your bases, re-check the fence's alignment at 90 degrees. It is possible that it's off. Next, pull the turntable off the saw and check the condition of the alignment notches. Over time these holes will fill with sawdust and wood resins. If they're blocked up, give them a good cleaning and retest your 45 degree cuts.
If this doesn't fix the problem, (hopefully the machine is still under warrantee) call Delta - it's a manufacturing defect.
Please feel free to send along any additional questions that you may have.
