Hi,
I’m in the process of making the miter saw stand as shown in FWW 209 (2009). A quick and simple question – I hope. Several of the corners are chamfered, but there is no dimension on the chamfer. Am looking for advice on a dimenion that would look good on the 3/4 plywood. I was thinking a 3/4 x 3/4 chamfer. Any thoughts?

clipped vs. chamfered
I don't have that issue immediately at hand, so I'm not sure if you are speaking of clipped corners or edge chamfers.
Personally, I'd round the corners and simply soften edges.

yheah, i guess i wasn't claer on that. I meant clipped corners (ie corners are no longer 90 deg.)
