need help deciding between the Ridgid ms1065lz & the dewalt dw703 saws. The dewalt is only $10 more on clearance right now . This is what I see so far. The dewalt has an adjustable mitre gauge (the part that actually has the degree markings on it) and the ridgids is riveted. The ridgid comes with one bed extension and the dewalt has none. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Shane |

I have a Makita 10" slider and would not give it up. My son has a porter cable 12" miter saw with double lazers, I really like it. All depends on how many $$ you are willing to part with.

Either way, you will be happy with their choice on most occasions, and on that rare occasion you catch yourself wishing you'd bought the other, just take aminute to realize how rare those occasions have been.
