Anyone have any experience with the MLCS Marvel 60 router? On paper it looks gpood for the money. Art

Hi Art,
I ordered one and it is a monster. I got it back in November. It has worked fine for what little I have used it. To be honest though I think if I had it to do over I would not have bought it. The instruction manual that came with it is a joke. The plate that comes with it for the bushing set is suspect as are the bushings. I have had good luck with the bits I have ordered from these guys in the past, but I not sure about this router. The speed adjustment seems to work real well. The all the height and plunge adjustments work fine. Of course I had to figure all that out because the Manuel is just so poor. Chinese made and Chinese written. It's got all the power I need. Time will tell.
Have a good one.
Jimmy
as always I wish you enough.
Hi Jimmy, thanks. Like you, I've had very good experience with their bits but I haven't seen any customer reviews of the router yet. Thanks for the input. Art
Hi Art - I've seen nearly no reports about the quality or performance. I like the value of their bits for a hobbyist, but can't come up with any good reasons to bypass the respected Hitachi or Freud routers in the same size and price range for the unproven Marvel.
