Just set up a mobile base for my bandsaw. Once set up, I noticed that the bandsaw rocked. I’ll just shim it.
I was wondering however if I should have put in a plywood base in the mobile base before hand?
Any thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks,
Rehab.

If it didn't rock on your floor, you might want to bolt it to the mobile base with shims. Since the base's corners aren't quite flat, bolting the BS right to them will probably lift one corner and make it unsteady.
Thanks highfigh,
I'm going to buy some washers tomorow. I was just wondering if I was out of the loop on this one.

If it's the mobile base from Rockler, mine is out of whack, too. I used it with oak rails on my TS and that was just too much for it. It's not straight, square, flat or any other adjective. Kinda like my house, so it's a match. I may leave it here. I had some 1-1/2" square steel tube cut for it and welded in place but one or two of the joints need re-welding. I may just go to Harbor Freight and buy a welder. I've been threatening myself with that for a few years, anyway.
"I cut this piece four times and it's still too short."
Nope, it's a general international but they probably come from the same factory. Buy the welder anyway and think of it as industrial duct tape... A thousand uses if your a do-it-yourselfer.
