I’m attempting to put together a mobile bench that when not in use, can be used as my table saw cut-off table. I have a great cabinet makers bench I built some time ago……but I now need a bench where I can do some serious metal handling and hammering. I will also attach a serious vise to this bench.

I have my design worked out and I’m now at the stage of securing casters. The real trick here is to find casters that can be raised / lowered in a moments notice? They must also be able to lock (non-swivel or roll) when at the saw.

To date the Web has not come thru for me, so I’m looking for your input where possible. Would appreciate any leads you may have to set me on my search for these casters.
